Your ever evolving and reliable partner for 22 yearsProviding Quality and Professional services for Hong Kong
With the spirit of pursuing excellence, we founded our company to provide professional laboratory services to regional medical specialists and dentists. Our perseverance over the years in providing convenient, efficient, high quality and yet reasonably priced tests rendered us reputable in the industry. Our area of services soon covered clinics, insurance companies and private enterprises all over Hong Kong.
Founded in 1991, EXACT Medical Laboratory & X-Ray Services was originally located in Tung Ying Building, Tsim Sha Tsui, as a small but fully equipped medical laboratory. By now we have different branch centres in other prime locations as well. Our experienced team of professionals include specialist doctors, medical laboratory technologists, registered nurses, registered radiographers, IT personnel and other dedicated staffs. To ensure our service quality and test accuracy we have joined and participated in the medical Quality Assurance Program (QAP) since 1996. We are also proud to have made various breakthroughs in the private medical laboratory industry. These include the founding of Exact Endoscopy & Diagnostic Centre in Mong Kok in 2004 and the relocation of the head office together with most specialist doctors, to the current address at Hong Kong Pacific Centre in 2005, just before the official announcement of the demolition of Tung Ying Building. In the following years, we worked closely with the Sino Group and had successfully transformed the Hong Kong Pacific Centre into a one-stop specialist medical building. In December 2010, we added the Siemens dual source 256-slice CT scanner to our diagnostic armamentarium at the new EXACT CT Imaging Centre. In 2011, our company was renamed EXACT Medical Group Limited. In March 2013, we also installed the latest Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine (Siemens Magnetom AERA 1.5T) at our new EXACT MRI & Diagnostic Centre.
Scope of services
We provide a full range of diagnostic laboratory and imaging services to medical specialists and dentists, which include medical laboratory tests, upper and lower gastro-intestinal endoscopy, X-ray examination, Ultra-sound imaging, Dental Imaging and Computer Tomography Scanning and Magnetic Resonance Imaging services, etc.
Advanced technology and equipment
We kept upgrading our equipment and introducing the latest medical technologies over the past 20 years such as the panoramic dental X-ray, dual-energy X-ray bone densitometry, Doppler echocardiography, endoscopy and the newly introduced dual-sources definition flash spiral CT scanner and the more advanced 1.5T MRI machine.
We operate the first non-hospital based Siemens’ high-end scanners in Hong Kong. The advanced imaging capability of the SOMATOM definition Flash 256-slice CT scanner allows good quality coronary artery images to be captured at much lower radiation doses even in the presence of high heart rates or arrhythmia. Also in 2013, we have installed the fast speed high resolution Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T MRI scanner in the newly established MRI and Diagnostic Centre. It's 70cm wide bore offers a more comfortable environment to the patients. Even obese patients can be easily accommodated and claustrophobia is seldom a problem.
